History
Youngstown Plastic Tooling & Machinery was founded in 1984 by Donald J. Liga, an entrepreneur and a visionary in the plastics industry. Don started the company in a 20,000-square-foot building and later added a 45,000-square-foot building that houses our tooling and machinery departments.
Today we produce over 120 different machinery products for the plastic extrusion industry. With a solid track record and the ability to solve difficult problems on in-plant extrusion lines, we can turnkey projects and develop marketable products for our customers at an affordable price.
We measure our success by watching our customers grow their profits in the plastics industry. President and Plant Manager John J. Liga and Process Engineer Daniel R. Smith maintain the quality of work YPTM is known for.
